B-2 20th Anniversary Celebration Lands in Dayton -- Trading Markets

DAYTON, Ohio, Apr 30, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- NOC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- The nearly 30-year B-2 stealth bomber partnership between the Air Force and Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) will be center stage on Friday evening May 1 at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio.

A private gala hosted by the Air Force will become the latest stop in a year-long series of festivities designed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first flight of the B-2. The event will feature comments and perspective by B-2 program leaders past and present.

My Comment:It is hard to believe that this plane was first design 30 years ago, and it has been flying around for 20 years. In today's world, this plane has been replaced by cruise and smart missiles that makes the B-2 "nuclear option" no longer necessary. But even though it is no longer necessary .... when it flies around it is still an impressive sight to see.
