US Drone Destroyed In US Drone Strike


A unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the United States was destroyed by the drone strike after it crashed in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan.

Pakistani media outlets has reported that over 400 Pakistani troops and many local politicians were in close vicinity of the crashed drone looking to see if any one got injured on ground due to crash.

US drone fired air to surface missile at the crashed drone on Saturday night and Pakistani troops and other officials were and narrowly able to escape this drone attack.

Iran ordered over two hundred improved AH-1J Cobras attach helicopters from the United States in early 1970s, out of which 62 TOW-capable AH-1J Cobras attach helicopters were delivered before the fall of Shah of Iran.



Upgrade was carried out by the Iranian HESA locally. Upgrade included new framed canopy, redesigned nose section to house Target Sight System (TSS) and Multi Function Displays (MFD) in cockpit.
