Should Susan Rice Be Nominated As U.S. Secretary Of State?

WASHINGTON — Nearly 100 Republican lawmakers warned President Barack Obama on Monday against nominating UN envoy Susan Rice to be his next secretary of state, saying she misled Americans over the Benghazi attack.

The 97 Republican House members wrote to Obama to say they were "deeply troubled" he was considering her as a replacement to Hillary Clinton because Rice "propagated a falsehood" about the attack on the US mission in Benghazi.

My Comment: She needs to answer a lot of questions. And while the Republicans do not have the votes to stop her nomination, her position and standing will be diminished .... especially if she is unable (or unwilling) to explain why she went on a number of different Sunday morning talk shows a few days after the Ambassador's murder to push the administration's explanation` on why the Benghazi consulate was attacked.
