Iranian F-4 Phantom II Fighter Attack Aircrafts

F-4 Phantom II fighter attack aircrafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) which were purchased from the United States during the Shah era. Iran purchased around 225 F-4D, F-4E and RF-4E Phantoms from the US.

Persian F-4 Phantoms are used in maritime strike role along with C-802 antiship missiles as well as in air defense and ground attack roles.
