The United States Air Force is planing to upgrade 300 to 350 F-16C/D Block 40 Night Falcons and F-16C/D Block 50 Falcons fighter jets with new avionics and increased airframe life.
This was stated by the United States Air Force deputy chief for operations, Lieutenant General Herbert J. "Hawk" Carlisle while testifying.
