Health care reform was supposed to be President Obama's overriding issue heading into the new year, but now he is expected to make terror intelligence a top priority in the wake of an attempted attack.

President Obama is pledging to quickly address what the government did wrong leading up to the attempted jet bombing on Christmas when he returns to Washington next week, as lawmakers open the door for hard-hitting hearings examining the same issues.

My Comment: I love the FOX News headline .... Obama Under Pressure To Quickly Reform Intelligence, Security Upon Return .... sighhhh ..... since Day 1 President Obama has been doing just that.

Quoting Charles Krauthammer .... From the very beginning, President Obama has relentlessly tried to play down and deny the nature of the terrorist threat we continue to face. Napolitano renames terrorism "man-caused disasters." Obama goes abroad and pledges to cleanse America of its post-9/11 counterterrorist sins. Hence, Guantanamo will close, CIA interrogators will face a special prosecutor, and Khalid Sheik Mohammed will bask in a civilian trial in New York -- a trifecta of political correctness and image management.
