China Launches It's First High - Resolution Satellite. State Media Says It Will NOT Be Used By The Military For Spying



China Launches High-Resolution Satellite -- IBTimes

China's first satellite to conduct high resolution earth observation launched on Friday (April 26) from the north-western China's Gansu province, state media reported.

The satellite was launched on a Long March-2D carrier rocket at 1213pm (0413 GMT) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, which marked the 175th launch in China's Long March series of rockets, state television CCTV reported.
