U.S. Airs Details On Potential Iran Airstrike
Two Israeli news publications have reported receiving details from the Obama administration on blueprints for a potential aerial campaign against atomic installations in Iran, the London Times reported on Monday (see GSN, Aug. 3).
The alleged battle map's circulation to Maariv and Yediot Aharonot apparently followed the conclusion of U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta's trip to Israel last week, according to the Times.

My Comment: I am sure the Pentagon has made a number of detailed plans and contingencies on striking Iran's nuclear sites. The problem is the lack of political in Washington to transmit the order to do it. But considering how dangerous such an operation will be .... and the resulting catastrophic blow-back that will probably come about .... no one should be surprised on why it (the order to go ahead) has not been done.
