Another Wave Of Bombings In Iraq



18 Reported Killed In Series Of Blasts In Baghdad -- New York Times

BAGHDAD — Fifteen explosions, including one that appeared aimed at a United States military convoy, shook Baghdad over the span of four hours on Sunday morning, killing 18 and wounding 77, according to an Iraqi security official.

The most deadly attack occurred at about 9 a.m. in north Baghdad when a suicide bomber detonated explosives near police officers who had responded to the scene of an explosion near the American convoy, the security official said.
