North Korea's Leader Appears To Be Heading Back Home

Kim Jong Il Appears To Head Home After Latest Hush-Hush Trip To Beijing -- L.A. Times

The reclusive North Korean leader is believed to have met with top Communist officials to seek their support of the political emergence of his youngest son, Kim Jong Eun, widely expected to be his successor.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il appeared to be headed home Sunday from a secretive trip to Beijing that analysts believed was intended to pave the way for an imminent succession to power of Kim's youngest son.

Kim traveled by private train to China last week apparently on a mission to appeal to Communist leaders, who are North Korea's closest allies, to support the political emergence of Kim's son, Kim Jong Eun. The younger Kim reportedly accompanied his father on the trip.

My Comment:
Kim Jong Il is doing for his son what his father did for him .... getting Chinese agreement to accept the next leader of North Korea.

What is my take .... I expect the Chinese to acquiesce to Kim Jong-il's request that they support his son when it is time for him to lead.
