North Korea Tests Long Range Unha-3 Rocket

North Korea has successfully launched of long range Unha-3 rocket which is very similar to the three-stage intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) which could eventually be used to target United States when armed with nuclear weapon.

The Unha-3 long range rocket was launched from the North Korean Sohae Space Centre.  Experts believe that Unha-3 rocket is a version of the North Korean three stage Taepodong-2 long range ballistic missile and this test will aid in its development.

Previous North Korean attempts to tests the three-stage rockets and long-range Taepodong-2 missile had resulted in failure .
