Annual Report Forecasts Illegal Drug Trends Around The World -- Deutsche Welle
The UN's office on drugs and crime (UNODC) issued its annual report on Tuesday. It aims to present a snapshot of drug use and production around the world.
Around 230 million people, roughly five percent of the world's adult population, are thought to have used an illicit drug in 2010. Some 27 million adults are problem drug users.
