The Shahin is Iranian produced surface to air missile with range of 40 kilometers. Shahin air defence missile system seems to be based on the MIM-23 Hawk medium range surface to air missile system which was sold to the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force during the Shah era.
Iranian produced Shahin air defense system is using much improved ground engagement control station.
