Islamist Group Is Rising Force In A New Egypt -- New York Times
CAIRO — In post-revolutionary Egypt, where hope and confusion collide in the daily struggle to build a new nation, religion has emerged as a powerful political force, following an uprising that was based on secular ideals. The Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist group once banned by the state, is at the forefront, transformed into a tacit partner with the military government that many fear will thwart fundamental changes.
It is also clear that the young, educated secular activists who initially propelled the nonideological revolution are no longer the driving political force — at least not at the moment.

My Comment: It is so clear on what is happening in Egypt .... the establishment of an Islamic state .... that one can easily say that the worse case scenario is now developing in that country. A development (that I must add) that was universally denounced and denied by most of our media/pundits/and political leaders who choose to tell us otherwise when the Egyptian revolution was starting to gain traction in January.
So ... what will the future of Egypt hold. If you are a Christian, or a woman .... the future does not look bright at all. And if you are Israel .... a picture says a thousand words.
