South Korea Experiences A Stirring For Revenge -- New York Times

INCHEON, South Korea — The explosions from North Korean artillery shells sent Hong Kwang-sun and other members of his construction crew rushing into the basement of their half-finished building on Yeonpyeong Island. As he ran, he saw two workers still standing outside just as another round of blasts engulfed the construction site in flames.

The next day, searchers found the bodies of the two men. They were burned beyond recognition.

My Comment: My Godfather is Korean, and I have been to South Korea on many occasions. The South Koreans are a very proud and nationalistic people ..... the fact that they bit their tongue this week after North Korea's blatant provocation is surprising to say the least. But after today's riots, I suspect that this patience is gone, and what was accepted in the past will not be accepted today.

If I was a betting man, I would bet that the next North Korean provocation will not be met lightly, and if that is the case .... the possibility of a full scale shooting exchange on the DMZ will become more than than likely.
