Taliban Commander Reported Killed In US Strike In North Waziristan -- Long War JournalThe US has carried out its second airstrike in 24 hours in Pakistan's Taliban-controlled tribal agency of North Waziristan. A Taliban commander is reported to have been among the five people killed in the strike.
Today's strike took place in the village of Tabbi Tolkhel near Miramshah, the main town in North Waziristan. An unmanned Predator or the more deadly Reaper fired two missiles at a known "militant compound" in the village, Pakistani intelligence officials told Geo News.
