Israel And Hamas: Conflict In Gaza

Israel ceased fighting for three hours to allow civilians to access food and medical care. Two truck drivers on route to Erez Crossing were killed and one was injured when Israeli forces opened fire on the convoy, according to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.

The agency has suspended all food distribution until Israel guarantees safe passage for aid workers.

At least three rockets were fired from Lebanon into residential areas in northern Israel, including the coastal town of Nahariya where two women were injured. Israel retaliated, but no casualties were reported.
