Rafale proposal termed as "uncompetitive and unworkable": UAE

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed has called the French proposal to provide 60 Rafale fighter jets to the UAE air force a "uncompetitive and unworkable." The UAEAF is now looking at the other competitor like Eurofighter Typhoon.

Long list of Indian defence deals with the United States includes 16 C-17 Globemaster III military transport aircraft, 512 CBU-105 sensor fuzed weapons, 99 F414-GE-INS6 power plant for LCA, 24 L-model Harpoon Block II, 22 AH-64D Block III Apache helicopters, 812 AGM-114L-3 HELLFIRE LONGBOW missiles, 542 AGM-114R-3 HELLFIRE II missiles, 245 STINGER Block I-92H missiles, 12 P-8I Maritime Patrol and Anti-Submarine Warfare Aircraft.

MBDA Offers Taurus KEPD 350 Cruise Missile To Indian Air Force


European consortium MBDA is offering to sell 300 km-range version of the Taurus KEPD 350 (Kinetic Energy Penetration Destroyer) air-launched high precision standoff cruise missile to the Indian Air Force (IAF).

F-16 IN, F/A-18 IN, Mig-35 and Gripen-IN Out of MMRCA Race

Eurofighter Typhoon and Rafale fighter jets has been shortlisted by the India for the $10.4 billion contract to supply 126 medium multi-role fighter aircraft (MMRCA) to Indian air force. 

Contenders included US F/A-18 IN Block II 'Super Hornet', F-16 IN Block 70 'Falcon', Swedish Gripen and Russian MiG-35.  $10.4 billion project to supply 126 medium multi-role fighter aircraft (MMRCA).
