Iranian navy has successfully test fired different short-range and medium-range anti-ship cruise missile during the 4th and 5th day of the Velayat-91 naval exercises near the Strait of Hormuz.

US Missile Defense System Engages 5 Targets Simultaneously

The USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) guided-missile destroyer of the United States Navy test fires RIM-161 Standard Missile 3 (SM-3) Block 1A to engaged a low flying cruise missile over water as apart of a joint ballistic missile defense exercise.

Earlier, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system successfully intercepted its first Extended Long Range Air Launch Target (E-LRALT) missile which was simulating the flight profile of Medium Range Ballistic target.

Two PATRIOT Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missiles successfully tracked and successfully intercepted a Short Range Ballistic Missile and a low flying cruise missile target over water.

As a part of Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System, Standard Missile 3 can intercept short- to intermediate-range ballistic missiles.

Chinese C-602/YJ-62 Long Range Anti Ship Cruise Missile (ASCM)

Coastal Defense Units of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA Navy) Test fires C-602/YJ-62 long range Anti Ship Cruise Missile (ASCM) from three round mounted on top of 8 x 8 transporter erector launcher (TEL) vehicle. The C-602/YJ-62 carries a warhead of 300 kg to a distance of +over 280km at cruising speed of 0.9 Mach.

Pakistan Successfully Tests Multi Tube Hatf-VII Babur Cruise Missile


The Strategic Command and Control Support System provides decision-makers at the National Command Centre "robust command and control capability of all strategic assets with round the clock situational awareness in a digitised network-centric environment." The  Multi Tube Cruise Missile Hatf-VII (Babur) has the added capability of real time remote monitoring of a missile's flight path.
