Military Hearing Begins For U.S. Soldiers Implicated In An Afghan Death Squad



US 'Death Squad' Soldier Blames Leader For Killings, Video Shows -- The Telegraph

A military hearing has begun involving the first of five US soldiers accused of killing Afghan civilians earlier this year, as a videotape emerged in which he blamed his squad leader for the killings.

Corporal Jeremy Morlock, 22, from Wasilla, Alaska, faces charges including premeditated murder and conspiracy.

Prosecutors have also alleged that members of his platoon mutilated Afghan corpses and even collected fingers and other body parts, and that some posed for photos with Afghan corpses.
