‘Aliens’ Messed with US, Soviet Nukes – US Airmen -- RIA Novosti

WASHINGTON, May 1 (RIA Novosti) – In the midst of the Cold War on several occasions, nuclear missiles at US Air Force bases were mysteriously shut down, according to US servicemen who said they witnessed the failure of the heavily guarded missile systems.

But they don’t blame America’s Cold War enemy, the Soviet Union; they say aliens from space did it.

“This was something Russia could have developed, but it turns out they didn’t develop this and we don’t have it either – to be able to shut down nuclear weapons with a beam of light,” David Scott, a former sergeant in the US Air Force, told RIA Novosti at a conference in Washington on encounters with extraterrestrials.

The FBI's UFO Case Files Most Popular Public Record

A single-page March 22, 1950, memo by Guy Hottel, special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office, regarding UFOs is the most viewed document in the FBI Vault, an online repository of public records. FBI

FBI UFO Memo Is Bureau's Most Viewed Public Record -- Christian Science Monitor

FBI UFO memo: The Federal Bureau of Investigation says that its Hottel memo, which reports on an alleged flying saucer sighting, has been viewed nearly a million times since 2011.

The FBI says its most viewed public record is a memo from 1950 recounting a strange story someone told an agent about three "flying saucers" that were allegedly recovered in New Mexico.

The so-called Hottel memo was first released in the late 1970s under the Freedom of Information Act, but it's been viewed nearly a million times since 2011, when the FBI launched an online database of public records called the Vault.

Dated March 22, 1950, the memo was addressed to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover and written by Guy Hottel, then head of the Bureau's field office in Washington, D.C. Hottel was reporting what an Air Force investigator said that someone else told him about the crashed saucers.

Chinese UFOs On The Indian Border?

On India-China Border, Reports Of UFOs Skyrocket -- L.A. Times

Mysterious yellow spheres that appear to lift off from the Chinese side are causing more embarrassment than fear as India struggles to figure out what they are.

NEW DELHI — Adding to the litany of issues besetting neighboring nuclear rivals China and India, ranging from border disputes to the Dalai Lama to trade deficits, is a new one: UFOs.

"Over 100 UFOs seen along China border," said a headline in Tuesday's Times of India.

Indian troops guarding the often-tense 2,100-mile border between the two Asian giants say the objects seen in recent months are yellow spheres that appear to lift off from the Chinese side, slowly traversing the sky for three to five hours before disappearing. Indian military officials have reportedly ruled out Chinese drones — 99 of which reportedly were documented during the first 10 months of 2012 — or low-orbit satellites.

Another One Of Those .... 'What's Up There?' Questions

UFO Caught On Tape Over Santiago Air Base -- Huffington Post

Is this the case UFO skeptics have been dreading?

Sightings of mysterious flying craft with capabilities unknown on Earth have confounded mankind throughout recorded history. Most have been convincingly explained away as unfamiliar aircraft, natural phenomena or illusions. But then there are the others, witnessed in our time by pilots and air traffic controllers, military leaders, scientists, law enforcement officers and other trained observers, sometimes with physical evidence, including corroboration on film and video.

"We don't know what they are," says Nick Pope, a former head of the official UFO office in Britain's Ministry of Defense. "But they do exist."

UFO Found On The Ocean Floor?

UFO Found On Ocean Floor? -- MSNBC

Swedish explorer reports circular anomaly, but is it a 'flying saucer'? Hardly.

An ocean exploration team led by Swedish researcher Peter Lindberg has found what some are suggesting is a crashed flying saucer.

Lindberg's team, which has had success in the past recovering sunken ships and cargo, was using sonar to look for the century-old wreck of a ship that went down carrying several cases of a super-rare champagne. Instead, the team discovered what it claims is a mysterious round object that might (or might not) be extraterrestrial.

Did A UFO Cause A Power Failure At A Nuclear Missile Base?

Speaking out: UFO researcher Robert Hastings says three eyewitnesses have come forward to him on the condition of anonymity

Did UFO Cause Power Failure At Nuclear Missile Base? Missile Technicians Claim Sightings Coincided With October Outage -- Daily Mail

* 50 nuclear weapons lost touch with control centre
* Blackout lasted almost an hour says Air Force
* President Obama told of power supply interruption

When Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming lost control of 50 nuclear, inter-continental missiles last October, officials said a communication failure between the control centre and the weapons was to blame.

However, three missile technicians stationed at the base have raised fresh questions in the case, amid reports UFO sightings coincided with the incident.

UFO researcher Robert Hastings says eyewitnesses claim the interruption to the power supply also lasted much longer than the Air Force admits.

Iran Boasts That They Have Built A Flying Saucer

The hardline Fars news agency illustrated its story with a photo of a flying saucer, akin to one appearing in a 1950s Hollywood B-movie, hovering over an unidentified wooded landscape

We've Built A Flying Saucer, Boasts Iran (Even If It Does Look Like It Belongs In A 1950s B-Movie) -- The Daily Mail

Iran today boasted that it has built the world’s first flying saucer.

Called the Zohal - or Saturn in English - it said the unmanned spaceship is designed for 'aerial imaging' but added it can be used for 'various missions'.

It was unveiled by the country's offically sanctioned media on the same day it claimed to have launched a rocket into orbit with a test capsule capable of carrying a monkey into space.

Hitler's Secret Flying Saucer: Did The Führer Plan To Attack London And New York In UFOs? -- The Daily Mail

As Hitler's armies began to crumble on fronts as far apart as Stalingrad and North Africa, he turned in increasing desperation to his scientists to create a war-winning super-weapon.

Some, like the V2 rockets and the first jet fighters, saw action but came too late to halt defeat.

Others were so outrageously ambitious that they never got past the drawing board. The idea of building flying saucers to bomb London and even New York could have been just such a scheme.

Are Those UFOs Over Chinese Airports Just A Military Test?

UFO Over China: UFO Over Chinese Airport Is a Military Test

UFO Over China: UFO Sighting Over Chinese Airport 2010 - Do you believe in UFOs? Some of us believe that we, as human beings, are not alone in this world. We have companies living outside of our planet Earth. These are familiar to us as Extra Terrestial beings as portrayed in Steven Spileberg’s ET. Accordingly, they sometimes visit us riding spaceship. Since we don’t really know about it, we call it as UFO or Unidentified Flying Object.

Are UFOs Disarming Nuclear Weapons, And If So Why?

Did UFOs Disarm Nuclear Weapons? And If So, Why? -- Live Science

At an unusual press conference recently held in Washington, D.C., a UFO author and a half-dozen or so former U.S. military airmen asserted that "The U.S. Air Force is lying about the national security implications of unidentified aerial objects at nuclear bases and we can prove it." They claim that since 1948, extraterrestrials in spaceships have not only been visiting Earth but hovering over British and American nuclear missile sites and temporarily deactivating the weapons.

My Comment: I am skeptical .... but these guys are former senior U.S. military airmen, and they should be listened to. Unfortunately .... they have no visible proof.

Aliens Have Been Visiting Nuclear Facilities .... Hmmm ....

Aliens Have Deactivated British And US nuclear Missiles, Say US Military Pilots -- The Telegraph

Aliens have landed, infiltrated British nuclear missile sites and deactivated the weapons, according to US military pilots.

The beings have repeated their efforts in the US and have been active since 1948, the men said, and accused the respective governments of trying to keep the information secret.

The unlikely claims were compiled by six former US airmen and another member of the military who interviewed or researched the evidence of 120 ex-military personnel.

Government Fears Over UFOs Goes Back To The 1950s

UFO Files: Winston Churchill 'Feared Panic' Over Second World War RAF Incident -- The Telegraph

Winston Churchill was accused of ordering a cover-up of a Second World War encounter between a UFO and a RAF bomber because he feared public "panic" and loss of faith in religion, newly released secret files disclose.

The former Prime Minister allegedly banned reporting of the “bizarre” incident, off the east coast of England, for half a century amid fears disclosures about unidentified flying objects would create public hysteria.
