Vet Who Lost Left Arm in Afghanistan Catches Foul Ball at Yankee Stadium! --USNavySeals.com

Wounded Vet Michael Kacer showed the world that it does not necessarily take two limbs to make a catch of a lifetime. The 29-year-old Vet lost his left arm to a rocket attack in Afghanistan in 2008, but caught the attention of the baseball world at Yankee Stadium Friday night, after catching a foul ball. A feature on the Navy Times shared Kacer’s monumental moment, which was captured on video and went viral on the web. ESPN aired the catch during SportsCenter’s top plays segment. Kacer, a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, gushed: “I was like ‘Dude, this is unbelievable!’”

My Comment: The wonderful thing about baseball (and sports in general) is that sometimes .... in the moment .... you are put in a wonderful situation where you do not think about anything else except that moment.
