Vladimir Putin Addresses Kremlin Crowds As Russian Military Thunder Through Red Square -- The Telegraph

Tanks, troops and heavy weaponry grace Moscow's Red Square for Russia's Victory Day parade as new President Vladimir Putin implores all not to forget the lessons of World War II.

Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the parade near the walls of the Kremlin with a short speech recalling lessons learned from World War II, called the "Great Patriotic War" in Russia.

"It should be once again, and openly, acknowledged that the aggressive intentions of the Nazis weren't resisted in time, that the disunity of the nations and their mutual suspicions and ideological conflict didn't allow them to prevent World War II," he said.
