The revelation comes days after a double agent with British links infiltrated AQAP, posing as a suicide bomber, and escaped with their latest “undetectable” bomb designed to bring down a US-bound passenger jet.
It is believed that thanks to his information a CIA drone strike in a mountainous region of Yemen killed AQAP leader Fahd al-Quso.
