French Air Force (Armée de l'Air /ALA) has successfully tested Aster 30 SAMP/T (sol-air moyenne portée terrestre or surface-to-air medium range / land) against a short range ballistic missile.
Aster 30 SAMP/T land-based air defence system was able to successfully intercept an incoming ballistic missile target at a height of 10 km.
