The End Game For Gaddafi`s Regime





The Libyan Rebels Control The Coast. But It's A Vast Country – And The Gaddafi Regime Isn't Finished Yet -- The Telegraph



The newly arrived American journalist had a perfectly reasonable question: how could the rebels have let Gaddafi’s family escape to Algeria?



Colonel Ahmed Omar Bani, spokesman for the opposition forces in Benghazi, gave him a withering look. “You might want to have a look at a map and then think about that question,” he said. Even the translator chipped in. “The border is a thousand kilometres long,” he pointed out to the journalists, gathered for a press conference.

My Comment: I know that Gaddafi will eventually be found .... that time is against him. I also know that for the new rebel government .... consolidation and control of the major population and oil/economic centers are its priority. Unfortunately .... until this is done .... and the capture and/or killing of Gaddafi and his most loyal supporters have been accomplished .... uncertainty and violence will be the norm for Libya`s foreseeable future.
